The classic rectangular pool can accommodate many types of track, depending on your stage of the building process, your deck surface, or any special features you've incorporated into your pool.
Most new rectangular concrete or gunite pools accommodate an automatic pool cover by using our Underside track system. The track is concealed underneath the pool's overhanging coping and the cover mechanism is housed below the surface of the deck. Provisions for this track must be made prior to construction.
Adding track channel allows Underside track to be used for raised wall, thin coping, vinyl-liner, or fiberglass applications. The track channel is set into the wall and the Underside track is installed securely inside the track channel.
Vanishing-edge pools are designed to highlight the horizon line when sitting in the pool. Underside track for vanishing-edge pools allows the cover to attach on the "vanishing" side of the pool so that water can flow underneath. Discuss incorporating a cover system into your vanishing-edge pool during the beginning planning stages.
For vinyl-liner pools with square, 6" or 24" radius corners, Cover-Pools offers an attractive one-piece coping for undertrack, available in designer white or gray.
The deck-mounted Universal track can be used for rectangular vinyl-liner and fiberglass pools where Underside track is not an option. The low-profile guides run parallel on the deck along the side of the pool.
Recessed track is another option for pools where a surface-mounted track is advised. The track is installed flush into the surface of the deck.
