Underside Track
with Track Channel and Vinyl-Liner Retainer
Adding track channel with vinyl-liner retainer allows Underside track to be used for rectangular vinyl-liner pools. Track channel is attached to the base layer of the deck, and then the deck surface is poured using one of three different coping forms. Underside track is installed securely inside the track channel.

Deck-on-Deck
Construction
New vinyl-liner, fiberglass, and concrete freeform pools can incorporate a Cover-Pools pool cover by using deck-on-deck construction and track channel with Underside track. This technique involves building a rectangular deck slightly raised above the freeform pool deck. The tracks are placed under the coping of the raised rectangular deck.

Extended-Cantilever Deck
The extended cantilever deck construction method also allows freeform pools to use an undertrack installation with track channel. With this technique, the tracks are laid out parallel to each other at the widest part of the pool on the first deck. A second deck is built slightly raised to allow the cover to open and close without obstruction, and it mirrors the shape of the pool.
